MORE: THE ART OF REVENGE

MORE: THE ART OF REVENGE is an ambitious new “Rave-Theatre” production which combines the intensity and power of a warehouse rave with the intimacy of Shakespeare’s words. Join Benedict Masters in his quest for revenge against those he despises and discover just how low people will sink in the name of desire. The perfect pre-club entertainment, this ground-breaking event weaves it’s darkly comic plot through pounding music and an unbelievable atmosphere, tackling themes of emotional, physical, and mental abuse.
THE WORKSHOP
The play was first workshopped in April 2019, during a collaboration between THURSDAY'S CHILDREN THEATRE COLLECTIVE and THE UNIVERSITY OF HULL. Rebecca Sawdon directed with Sami Hindmarsh, and the cast was:

ORIGINAL PRODUCTION

After extensive rewrites the original production was created, again with THURSDAY'S CHILDREN, but this time at THE UNIT in Hull in November 2019. The production involved a 2-week residency for rehearsals, which were a highly collaborative process led by Director Sami Hindmarsh.
