Prologue
The Dead Fool Society slithered into existence in 2025, emerging from the gloriously grim creative underbelly of Northern England. Far from being "just another theatre company," the society is the brainchild of Lulu Frennet, Sami Hindmarsh, and Jake Smith—formerly the ringleaders of the Thursday's Children Theatre Collective, Hull's original attempt at reanimating Shakespeare (with varying degrees of success and sanity).

Now, they’ve gone rogue, rejecting the constraints of traditional theatre companies and embracing a far broader creative structure. The Dead Fool Society is no mere theatrical troupe! Fools! 'Tis an umbrella banner under which all manner of twisted artistic works are born: theatre, music, paintings, prose, and whatever else they can dream up in their collective fever dream.
The rules? There are none—Just three creatives, an endless stream of ideas, and a genuine affection for collaborating with one another.
Lulu, an actress and project manager with an uncanny knack for wrangling chaos, joins forces with Sami, a director and lighting designer whose brilliance borders on the unhinged. Jake, a writer with a morbid flair and a rare willingness to perform, rounds out this triumvirate of disaster. Whilst each works extensively solo, together, they collaborate under the banner of The Dead Fool Society, bringing new life to the long since dead.

As the Dead Fool Society spreads its dark wings, it will beckon an eclectic brood of collaborators, conspirators, and admirers, all drawn to its singular mission: to push artistic boundaries, no matter the medium, and revel in the space where frightful meets farcical.

The Fools
The titular trio of terrible tits.
